An exciting career development opportunity has arisen to join our Finance team, supporting a multimillion-pound organisation that delivers vital services to over 97,000 residents and more than 4,000 businesses across North West Leicestershire.
As Apprentice Trainee Accountant you will help our Finance Business Partners to deliver service improvements as well as supporting the wider Finance Team in all aspects of their day-to-day work, this will ensure you receive training across the different Finance functions to help your apprenticeship. The successful applicant will develop their knowledge and gain a thorough understanding of the role of an Accountant through a combination of formal training, on the job training and through studying for an Association of Accounting Technicians qualification.
To apply you need as a minimum:
- GCSEs in Maths and English at level 4 or above.
- Familiar with using the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel or similar software.
Responsibilities:
- Support Finance Business Partners to deliver service improvements and assist the wider Finance Team in day-to-day work, enabling training across Finance functions during the apprenticeship.
Benefits:
- 36.25 hrs per week with a career graded salary starting at £25,583 per annum
