The Legal Services Directorate at Halton Borough Council is a dedicated team providing expert legal, corporate, and constitutional advice to protect the Council’s interests. They handle a wide range of matters, from prosecutions and disputes to planning and property work, supporting all areas of the Council’s operations. The role will involve carrying out conveyancing and land related tasks of a more complex nature on behalf of the Council.
Are you experienced in commercial conveyancing and able to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision, while remaining sensitive to corporate and departmental priorities? You will be a team player with a flexible, imaginative approach, maintaining client focus and confidentiality at all times. You will be either a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), a Licensed Conveyancer, a Graduate Member of CILEx, or hold a Law Degree or suitable equivalent.
