An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Fleet Supervisor to join the team at our Cumbria workshop facility.
Overview
The NWAS Fleet Supervisor manages, supervises and controls the day-to-day running of the fleet workshop and staff, including vehicle technicians, apprentices, fleet drivers and workshop assistants. The role focuses on workshop loading, workflow and logistic efficiency to reduce downtime on all Trust vehicles and meet DVA and Trust standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage, supervise, and control day-to-day work of workshop and staff.
- Ensure workshop workflow and logistics are efficient.
- Drive workshop throughput and productivity through proactive engagement.
- Conduct workshop staff training, performance reviews and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Recognised apprenticeship such as Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
- NVQ or CG Level 3 qualifications.
- Diploma or Certificate in vehicle workshop management, general management, or evidence of supervisory experience.
- Full UK driving licence, with category C1 entitlement.
