Shift allowance: approximately 12.5% uplift on top of basic salary.
Basic Salary: £31,049 to £37,796 per annum (AFC Band 5).
About the Role
We are looking for 3 experienced Vehicle Technicians to join our team at the Workington Facility in Cumbria. The Vehicle Technician will ensure all Trust vehicles (Petrol / Diesel / Hybrid and EV) are serviced, repaired and maintained to the Trust and DVSA’s exacting standards, including the skilled service and repair of specialist ambulance equipment.
Responsibilities
- Servicing, repairing and maintaining Trust vehicles across a fleet of over 1,185 vehicles.
- Work in a modern workshop environment, ensuring optimal vehicle throughput, reduced workshop delays and minimal supply chain frustrations.
- Operate within a rotating shift pattern covering 365 days per year.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Recognised apprenticeship such as Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
- NVQ or C&G Level 3 qualifications.
- Full UK driving licence with category C1 entitlement.
