Are you an experienced administrator, looking for a fresh challenge within a vibrant and successful NHS team? If that’s you, we want you to join our Paramedic Emergency Service team, in the Greater Manchester Area of the North West Ambulance Service.

This exciting role will provide you with an opportunity to support the leadership teams in their roles, and support our amazing clinical teams providing the paramedic 999 service to the communities of Greater Manchester and the North West.

We currently have vacancies in Dukinfield, Salford, Oldham and Bury. You’ll work from an allocated ambulance station, but are expected to support at locations across the region. You will offer direct administration support to the Group Manager, the Sector Manager and their teams, enabling them to deliver the best possible service to the public.

You will have exceptional administration and organisational skills, be a confident communicator, proficient in the Microsoft Office packages and be adept at learning bespoke software systems. You will be confident in handling sensitive information and understand the importance of confidentiality and information governance. You will be a great team player and have the skills and competencies to work in this exciting but demanding role.

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport. Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed. We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need. Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident. We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West.
