This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced vehicle technician to join our Haydock workshop facility. The role of NWAS Vehicle Technician is to ensure all Trust vehicles (Petrol / Diesel / Hybrid and EV) are serviced, repaired and maintained to the Trust and DVSA’s exacting standards. The post incorporates the skilled service and repair of specialist ambulance equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Service, repair and maintain Trust vehicles (Petrol / Diesel / Hybrid / EV) to Trust and DVSA standards.
- Perform skilled service and repair of specialist ambulance equipment.
- Support the team to maximise vehicle throughput, reduce workshop delays and minimise supply‑chain frustrations.
- Maintain high levels of training and CPD.
Qualifications:
- Recognised apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
- NVQ or C.
