Are you interested in working in an Ambulance environment and achieving a nationally recognised qualification? You can ‘earn while you learn’ whilst training to be an Emergency Medical Technician. The Trust is recruiting to our apprenticeship programme for Emergency Medical Technicians across the North West region for 2026/2027.

As an apprentice you will receive 80% of the top of Band 4 (£24,465 per annum) for the first 12 months. In month 13, you will move to 85% of the top of Band 4 (£25,637 per annum). Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will be eligible to move onto a full Emergency Medical Technician contract of employment. The salary for this will be Band 4 which is £27,485 - £30,162 per annum plus an appropriate unsocial hour’s.
