Role Overview

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and flexible individual to serve as an Ambulance Liaison Officer within the Cumbria and Lancashire area of North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend Acute Trusts across the area as required.
  • Manage the handover process from ambulance resources to Acute Trusts in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Provide supervision to on-site staff and support the acute team during handover.
  • Use strong communication skills to influence decisions and maintain positive relationships within the Acute Trust setting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Supervisory experience in a healthcare or emergency setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with multidisciplinary teams.
