Oak View Academy in Winsford is looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and patient Level 3 qualified teaching assistant, to start in September 2026.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 8:30am until 3:30pm Monday to Friday (30 min lunch)
Salary: SCP6, £13.47 per hour
The successful candidate will be involved in supporting class teachers, 1:1 work and small groups of pupils with additional needs. They will also be able to deliver appropriate intervention programmes to individuals and groups. We would like a dynamic and creative teaching assistant who is willing to embrace the wider life of school and work hard to positively impact the children’s mental and physical wellbeing, whilst supporting their learning. We would also expect the successful applicant to support the class teacher.
Experience delivering or supporting ELSA interventions and pastoral support programmes would be an advantage. If you have the experience to understand children with additional needs and help them to thrive within our inclusive and nurturing school community, you could be the person we need.
