Overview: School Administrative Assistant – Acresfield Academy, Upton. The governors are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join the school’s office team.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 26 hours per week, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Salary: SCP 10 £27,694 (FTE) / Actual Salary £16,791
An exciting opportunity to join our exceptional and hardworking team as an administrative assistant. The role is 26 hours per week across 39 weeks of the year. Specific hours will be agreed at interview. Ideally, the successful candidate would start on Monday 22 June or as soon as possible after this date.
Responsibilities:
- Support the running of an organised and efficient office.
- Lead work on attendance and club provision.
- Carry out a range of administrative tasks, including general clerical support, filing, and collating information.
- Administer pupil applications, wrap around care bookings, and update records.
- Maintain aspects of the school website.
- Act as the face of the school, providing excellent verbal and written communication to develop positive school relationships and promote the school within the community.
Requirements and Safeguarding:
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Post is subject to satisfactory references, recruitment checks, and safeguarding checks, including an Enhanced DBS.
