The governors at Acresfield Academy are looking to appoint an excellent teaching assistant to join our school from September to work with the children accessing support from our resource provision. This is a really exciting opportunity to join a dedicated, forward-thinking team. We joined North West Academies Trust in 2019, so you will also be a part of a dynamic and successful Trust.

- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with moderate and complex learning needs as part of our resource provision
- Encourage children to develop academically and personally and help them overcome barriers to learning in a nurturing and calm environment
- Work flexibly and collaborate as a team player with excellent communication skills, adapting practice to meet each pupil’s needs
- Provide appropriate support and challenge to enable professional development within a hardworking, successful staff team
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience working with pupils who have additional educational needs, including moderate and complex learning needs
- Strong communication, teamwork and flexibility skills
- Ability to adapt practice to meet individual pupil needs
- Reference check and enhanced DBS check required
