The Housing Division provides services for the Council’s tenants. Our Housing Services Team is committed to delivering excellent services for all of our customers. A vacancy has arisen in our Neighbourhood Warden Team. The Team provides a cleaning and caretaking role for our blocks of flats and elderly person communal rooms. It is a well established and received service. Neighbourhood Wardens pay a particular role in ensuring the safety of our blocks of flats.
We are seeking someone who will work as part of a team and who will diligently act to provide community-based services for our tenants. Specifically, Wardens are expected to be:
- Proactive and able to work on their own initiative
- Provide a safe and clean environment in our premises
- Positive and helpful attitude to our customers
- Prompt in dealing with problems which they identify
A vehicle is provided for the role. Applicants need to hold a full valid driving licence. A practical approach to the work tasks and good communication skills are essential. Applicants also need to evidence their IT skills to enable you to use Microsoft packages and record data.
