You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of Maths and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques including new and up and coming technologies. Motivate and support learners to overcome barriers and achieve their goals, and create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment where students can thrive.
Appropriate teaching qualification, i.e. Cert. Ed. orequivalent or be prepared to gain this within 2 years of appointment
Minimum of level 3 qualification in the relevant subject
Ideally, experience of teaching across a broad range oflearner abilities and backgrounds
As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
