The Federation of North Walsham Infant and Junior Schools is seeking a caring and understanding Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our hard-working and committed staff team. The role will involve working with and supporting the children in lessons in class, some group work, and helping supervise during playtime and lunchtime.
This is a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship with Realise Learning & Employment. You’ll be working under the close supervision of a teacher, supporting and helping children and young people to learn. One of our specialist trainers will help you every step of the way to learn and progress ready for end point assessment. The typical length of the course is approximately 18 months.
North Walsham is a busy market town located just 15 miles north-east of Norwich. We have extensive grounds and fantastic links with other schools through the Broad Horizons Education Trust. We offer our staff a comprehensive CPD and Wellbeing Package.
Personal qualities are of paramount importance and the person appointed will be expected to display enthusiasm, energy, good humour, flexibility, and reliability. You should also have the ability to work independently as well as part of a busy team.
