Role Purpose
To maintain an effective Reception Service and Enquiry Counter at relevant Police Station(s). To deal with general enquiries from the public, made personally by telephone or email. To maintain secure control of entry to and exit from the building.
You will be required to demonstrate in your application the minimum requirement for the role:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in Business Administration/Customer Care and/or an equivalent amount of proven experience of dealing with members of the public/other agencies that incorporates communication via the telephone and face to face.
- The use of information technology to an intermediate level that includes inputting/typing skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Clerical/administrative experience to include the recording and cross-referencing of information and thereafter following Force Procedures.
- The applicant must hold a Current Driving Licence and must be able to travel force wide as this post is peripatetic.
