Role Overview

HR Advisor – Recruitment (Scale 6/SO1) opening to recruit a full‑time or job share role within the South Wales Police Human Resources Department.

Salary: £33,603 rising to £39,276.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end recruitment processes for police officer, uniformed, staff and management roles.
  • Plan and execute recruitment campaigns.
  • Maintain high recruitment standards while meeting demanding timescales.
  • Provide evening and weekend support on an as‑required basis.
  • Undertake vetting to MV/SC Level.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Welsh language ability.
  • Willingness to undergo vetting to MV/SC Level.
  • Previous HR or recruitment experience preferred.
