Role Overview
At North Wales Police we have a great opportunity for an Apprentice in our Estates and Facilities Department to provide general administration and support. To obtain a solid grounding in digital skills for business within North Wales Police and to work towards the completion of a Level 2 Digital Skills for Business qualification.
The training programme will include general administration within the designated business area within North Wales Police.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure actions and recommendations are kept up to date and stored centrally.
- Maintain effective and efficient databases.
- Perform routine safety checks.
- Maintain an effective and efficient manual and electronic filing system.
- Produce standard business correspondence and reports.
- Data inputting and processing utilising a variety of IT packages. Training will be provided for any bespoke Force packages.
- Work closely with other team members to support various functions and contribute to team objectives.
Requirements
- IT skills and an understanding of Microsoft Office or similar IT packages.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Self‑motivated and flexible.
- 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent level of qualification (to include Maths and English). For those awaiting GCSE results, please provide predicted grades.
