Overview: North Wales Police is recruiting a Cleaning Operative for Force Headquarters Colwyn Bay. This is a 20 hour per week role based in Colwyn Bay. Training will be provided in cleaning methods, health & safety and use of personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties across the headquarters, ensuring cleanliness of the building.
- Engage in physical activities such as walking, standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, grasping, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and/or moving up to 25lbs/12kgs, and repetitive arm movements.
- Adhere to health & safety policies, procedures, and best cleaning practices, including cleaning specifications, periodic cleaning tables, cleaning induction and risk assessments.
- May cover staff absence within the assigned divisional area.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience or qualifications required.
- Capability to work from a specific location and meet a requirement of 2 in Welsh language ability.
