Overview

Force Dyfed Powys Police – Police Staff – Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Location: Cardigan, Headquarters. Grade: E. Part‑time (14.8 hours per week). Permanent contract. Welsh language ability level: 1. Interview date: 13 July 2026. Closing date: 25 June 2026, 23:55.

Responsibilities

  • To support the delivery of Protecting vulnerable persons across Dyfed‑Powys area.
  • Provide audit support and scrutiny for PVPU business areas: Adult at risk, Child Abuse, Child Sexual Exploitation, Domestic Abuse, Female Genital Mutilation, Forced Marriage, Honour Base Violence, Human Trafficking, Managing Offenders, Missing persons, Serious Sexual Offences, Stalking and Harassment and Sex Workers.
  • Represent Dyfed Powys Police at external and internal events at local, regional and national levels.
  • Receive, record, review and prioritise information using recognised PVP systems including PROTECT.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to work Thursday and Friday on a weekly basis.
