Temporary 12-month contract
Salary of £27,388 per annum
Working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm at our office in Plas Blodwel, Llandudno Junction

The Role – Repairs Scheduler
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for scheduling and managing the repairs logged for the Direct Labour Operatives within North Wales Housing and arranging repairs with external contractors. Liaising with and working alongside colleagues from all other parts of the organisation, the duties will include but are not limited to:
- Raising, managing repairs and general property administration, inputting jobs into a works system and coordinating with trade operatives to ensure schedules are arranged based on geographic location.
- Acting as first point of contact for scheduling enquiries.
- Liaising directly with all internal colleagues, external contractors and external customers to solve problems using standard procedures in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
- Ensuring that the trade operative receives all the information they require in an accurate and timely manner so that the repair or service can be undertaken correctly during their first visit.
- Scheduling repairs to external contractors and negotiating times/dates suited to the resident and in line with geographical patching.
- Overseeing the maintenance scheduling diary.
- Flexibly approaching amendments to appointments where possible; whilst also, being firm where statutory inspection must be undertaken before a prescribed deadline.
- Overseeing all urgent and emergency jobs to ensure works are raised and completed by NWH, within target.
Our Requirements – Repairs Scheduler
- Welsh Language: Level 3 – conversational Welsh
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above to include Welsh, English and Mathematics.
- Awareness of building terminology.
- Awareness of Housing Associations and the work they undertake.
- Demonstrable experience of data entry
- Good planning and organising skills.
- Proficient IT skills, including MS 365 packages and CRM systems.
- Strong organisational skills and methodical approach to work
- Positive ‘Can do attitude’.
- Hard working, ability to produce high quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently and to deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team to achieve goals.
