Overview
We are looking to appoint a Senior Planning and Performance Analyst to join our Planning, Performance and Transformation Department. The successful candidate will support the Service’s corporate planning framework by developing and maintaining systems for performance monitoring and improvement, including benchmarking against other Fire and Rescue Services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems for performance monitoring and improvement.
- Benchmark performance against other Fire and Rescue Services.
- Contribute to the Service’s corporate planning framework.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partnership agencies and organisations.
- Manage conflicting priorities to successful conclusion.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of statistical and performance reporting techniques to improve organisational outcomes.
- Understanding of information needs and how systems and technology enhance efficiency.
- Self‑motivated and organized.
- Welsh Language level 2 skills (or willingness to attain within 12 months).
- Standard DBS Check and satisfactory references required.
Additional Information
A minimum of Welsh Language level 2 skills is required for this post. Applicants who do not already speak Welsh to level 2 will have 12 months from appointment to attain this with the help of the Service.
