Location: Rhyl Community Fire Station.

Contract: Temporary 15‑18 months, 37 hrs/week.

Salary: NWFRS Grade 08 £39,152 to £41,771 per annum pro rata.

Summary

We are looking to appoint a Project Manager to join our Prevention Department who will lead and coordinate the successful transition from the legacy system to the new Record Management System across the Response, Protection, and Prevention departments.

Key Responsibilities

This role will ensure the delivery of a fit‑for‑purpose, integrated risk information platform that supports operational effectiveness, statutory compliance, and strategic decision‑making. The postholder will work closely with internal stakeholders, software providers, and the RMS transition group to ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders and organisations. They will be self‑motivated and organised, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities to successful conclusion. The ideal candidate will also be able to facilitate workshops, user testing, and feedback sessions to support system design and implementation. Minimum Welsh Language level 2 skills is required for this post. This post is subject to a Standard DBS Check and satisfactory references.
