Overview
We are looking to appoint a Senior Planning and Performance Analyst to join our Planning, Performance and Transformation Department. The role supports the Service’s corporate planning framework by developing and maintaining systems for performance monitoring and improvement, including benchmarking against other Fire and Rescue Services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain performance monitoring systems and benchmarks.
- Support corporate planning framework and reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop working relationships with colleagues and external partnership agencies and organisations.
- Self‑motivated, organised with the ability to manage conflicting priorities to successful conclusion.
- Knowledge of statistical and performance reporting techniques to improve organisational outcomes, and understanding of information needs and how systems and technology enhance efficiency.
- Minimum Welsh Language level 2 skills required; applicants who do not already speak Welsh to level 2 will have 12 months from appointment to attain this with the help of the Service.
- Standard DBS Check and satisfactory references required.
