North Wales Adoption Service is one of five regional Collaboratives which form part of the National Adoption Service in Wales. North Wales Adoption Service is responsible for the recruitment and assessment of adopters, the matching and placement of children with adoptive families and provides a range of support services for adopted families. This is an exciting time to join North Wales Adoption Service and we are keen to receive applications from experienced and enthusiastic registered social workers who are interested in joining the team on a temporary 1 year contract.

The post holder will be required to complete assessments of prospective adopters, family find and place children, complete matching reports and present prospective adopter reports to the adoption panel. The successful applicants will require excellent written assessment and analytical skills. A commitment to work to time scales will be essential.
