Job Description
We have an exciting role on offer within our Strategic Procurement and Commissioning service as a Senior Procurement Officer.
About Us
Due to upcoming retirement in March 2026, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Procurement Officer who is experienced in procuring under the Contract Procedure Rules 2015 and most recently under the new Procurement Act 2023.
You will be joining a supportive and highly skilled team who you will work closely with, as we all get a better understanding of procuring under the new Procurement Act 2023 and Procurement Regulations 2024 which went live on 24th February 2025. We are keen to understand the flexibilities and innovation these can offer the Council.
Social Value is also a priority for the Council and this post will be pivotal in supporting the Council to evidence how we are achieving this through our procurement activity.
