North Tyneside Council are seeking to appoint an experienced and inspiring educator to the role of School Improvement Adviser for Music (0.6).
This is a unique opportunity to support the development of high-quality music provision for North Tyneside Music within Education North Tyneside, providing educational settings with curriculum support, staff training and access to a range of inclusive music activities for children and young people.
Responsibilities- Provide tailored support and professional challenge to schools and educational settings across North Tyneside to raise standards in music education.
- Design and deliver programmes of CPD, music enrichment and events, working in partnership with key stakeholders within and beyond the borough as part of the North-East Music Hub.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of music curriculum design and implementation, proven leadership experience, a strong track record in inclusive practice and sound knowledge of the wider music education ecosystem.
