Overview

Starting Point is North Tyneside Council's supported accommodation service for 16-25 year olds. The service has grown and provides outstanding support to young people on their journey to becoming an adult. The service consists of 4 houses, as well as trainer flats and outreach support. The young people at Starting Point are provided with beautiful accommodation and tailored support to meet their needs.

Role

As an Ofsted Registered Manager, you will have an excellent understanding of Supported Accommodation regulations, managing people and experience of managing a service of this nature.

The Successful Candidate

The right applicant will have a positive and nurturing personality and the ability to engage young people, advocate for them and support their aspirations. A passion for supporting others, driving positive practice and a good understanding of trauma are essential to the role. It is expected that applicants will have Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification and meet the requirements to be registered with Ofsted.
