We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Management Accountant to support the effective and efficient operation of our financial function. This is a key role within the Finance Team, providing accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis and insight across all our venues and service areas.
- Coordinating monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and full month-end support.
- Working closely with budget holders to review performance and strengthen financial control.
- Supporting preparation of annual accounts, year-end audit information and compliance activities.
- Producing ad-hoc financial reports, forecasts and performance analysis for the Leadership team.
- Preparing annual budgets, periodic outturns, and assisting with medium-term financial planning.
- Reconciling payroll and preparing payments to HMRC and pension providers.
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset registers and support capitalisation, depreciation and VAT returns.
- Contributing to cash-flow projections, bank reconciliations and financial systems administration.
- Providing financial training and guidance to colleagues across the business.
You will be an organised, proactive Finance professional with a strong eye for detail. You will be qualified or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW) with at least two years' management accounts experience and demonstrable analytical, communication and IT skills (including advanced Excel). You will have a full, valid driving licence and access to a car. The post is subject to a satisfactory standard DBS check.
