Assess needs, identify barriers and develop tailored action plans that support progression into work.
Deliver practical interventions including CV development, job‑search support, interview preparation and confidence‑building.
Help carers recognise their transferable skills and the resilience gained through caring.
Liaise with employers, training providers and partners to identify opportunities and reduce barriers.
Maintain accurate case notes, achieve project targets and contribute to group sessions and wider programme delivery.
Safeguard vulnerable adults and children, escalating concerns appropriately.
About you Experience providing one‑to‑one advice, guidance or employability support.
Strong understanding of unpaid carers’ needs and the barriers they may face when preparing for work.
Knowledge of local labour markets, recruitment routes and training opportunities.
Ability to deliver practical employability interventions confidently and creatively.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build supportive, professional relationships.
Strong organisational skills, with experience managing a caseload and meeting targets.
Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and strengths‑based practice.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Ability to travel across the North East region.
