- What You’ll Do
- Assist with childcare: Provide care and supervision for children aged 2‑4 years, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of age‑appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development.
- Help with meal and snack preparation, serving food, and ensuring children’s dietary requirements are met.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety throughout the nursery.
- Monitor and guide children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe and fun environment.
- Support children in developing social skills and communication, encouraging positive interactions with peers and staff.
- Help with observing and recording children’s development, supporting assessments and reports as required by the nursery staff.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and reflective practice to develop skills and knowledge related to child development and early years education.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide a nurturing and engaging environment for children.
- Provide a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for children and families.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s developmental milestones.
