An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced cardiac nurse to join the Nurse-Led Rapid Access Chest Pain team. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated nurse with extensive experience within cardiology, excellent communication skills, and an innovative and flexible approach. A key element of this role will include service development across all sites in accordance with NICE guidance.

This post is based across the trust-wide to cover the services at Whips Cross, Newham University, Royal London Hospitals & The Barts Heart Centre. The hours are 37.5 per week. An informal visit is encouraged.

Main duties of the job

To develop, influence and evaluate the Rapid Access Chest Pain Service and lead by example as the expert practitioner providing organisation and leadership to the multi-professional team. The post holder will support nurse-led services including the Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinics & Open Access Cardiology clinics, ensuring that appropriate referrals are made and that patients receive early diagnosis, treatment and management of their condition.
