We are seeking a Ward Host to join our catering team, to work on our University Hospital of North Tees site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team, to help provide a high quality and efficient, patient orientated catering service working within the ward areas. Full training will be provided, so previous experience is not essential, and this will be a great role for someone looking for the next step in their career., As a Ward Hostess, your role is integral in the provision of a comprehensive catering service for our patients, visitors and staff, the NHS couldn’t function without you.
Duties include:
Collating patient choices of the menu
Preparation of food
Plating and presenting the patient meals on the wards
Providing a beverage and snack round
The catering department currently offer a shift pattern of working 2.5 days over 7 days, which will include some weekend working.
