Overview
We are looking to appoint a Senior ATO β Informatics, who will join the dedicated pharmacy informatics team based at University Hospital of North Tees and University Hospital of Hartlepool. This post will be key in supporting the implementation and maintenance of pharmacy informatics systems including Omnicells.
We are looking for an individual with a sound knowledge and understanding of hospital pharmacy, as well as knowledge & experience of Pharmacy IT systems. The position requires excellent communication and organisational skills, who can effectively manage their own time and workload, and are confident in providing education and training.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of pharmacy informatics systems including Omnicells.
Qualifications
- Applicants must hold an NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services or equivalent General Pharmaceutical Council recognised dispensing qualification and be a competent dispenser or technician with hospital pharmacy experience.
- Sound knowledge of hospital pharmacy and Pharmacy IT systems.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills; able to manage own time and workload and provide education and training.
