The Company currently has a vacancy for a Cook in its ERRV/MRV fleet.
Start date: 12th June 2025 - Permanent Contract - 4 weeks on / off rotation.
Candidates must hold a Ships Cook CoC or Ships Cook Part I and II, and a valid Food Hygiene certificate.
Cook Responsibilities:
- Manage the ordering, storage, and use of all catering stores within budget.
- Check catering stores upon delivery and inform the Master of any discrepancies.
- Monitor all freezer and chill areas.
- Design menus and prepare all food for the crew.
- Ensure safety in the galley and catering areas.
- Report any defects in galley equipment, fridges, freezers, or food stores to the Chief Engineer.
- Be familiar with all fire fighting appliances, power cut-off switches, and safety devices in catering areas.
- Assist on deck during emergency exercises and situations involving Fast Rescue Craft.
