We are seeking an experienced and passionate PE Teacher with the ability to teach across Key Stage 1 to 4. The ideal candidate will have completed their ECT induction and bring a range of skills and sporting interests that will enrich our curriculum and engage students in physical activity, health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an inclusive and motivating PE curriculum that supports pupils' physical development, confidence and emotional regulation.
- Teach additional subjects until December 2026.
- Deliver high‑quality PE teaching across the school.
- Use assessment to track progress and support pupil development, both physically and socially.
- Collaborate, include and safeguard students.
- Work with HLTAs and/or LSAs to maximise student engagement and participation.
Qualifications
- Experience of working within an SEMH or SEND setting (advantageous).
- Strong understanding of SEMH, Autism Spectrum Conditions, learning difficulties and the impact of trauma and attachment.
- Commitment to collaboration, inclusion and safeguarding.
- Passion to teach across Key Stage 1 to 4.
- Completed ECT induction.
