The Company currently have a vacancy for a 3rd Engineer on its ERRV/MRV based in BIOT (crew change Male, Maldives). Start Date 01/07/2026. Permanent position. 8 weeks on 8 weeks off rotation.
Candidates should hold CoC for 3rd Engineer.

Second Engineer Is Responsible For The Following
- The operational status of the ship, its machinery, propulsion systems and technical equipment permanently installed on board, during his period on watch.
- The safety of personnel within sphere of influence.
- The maintenance of the vessel, machinery installed on board in a sound condition ready for operations.
- Reporting any defects to the plant and machinery installed on board to the Chief Engineer.
- Recognising stores requirements, spares and equipment for the Engine Department.
- Monitoring safe working practices of shore contractors during periods of maintenance.
- Examining and accepting stores and spares delivered to the vessel, and informing the Chief Engineer of any missing / outstanding items or items delivered in error.
- Assisting in the fuelling procedure to ensure all precautions are being adhered to.
- Actively promoting and progressing the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.
- Actively promoting inter-departmental communications.
