The Company currently have vacancies forFast Rescue Craft Coxswains in its ERRV fleet.

Candidates must hold valid OPITO FRC Coxswain certificate.

Fast Rescue Craft Coxswain is responsible for the following:

  • Taking charge and command of Rescue Craft and its crew upon launch, subject to Masters orders.
  • General upkeep and local repairs of Fast Rescue Craft / Daughter Craft.
  • Running up FRC Engines to ensure they operate
  • Reporting all FRC / DC defects to the Chief Engineer and Master, and liaising with both regarding general upkeep of craft.
  • General on deck daytime duties, as directed by the Chief Mate.
  • Form part of the vessel fire fighting team.
  • Monitoring safe working practices of shore contractors during periods of maintenance.
