The Company currently has a vacancy for a Cook in its ERRV/MRV fleet.

Start date: 4th August 2025 – Permanent Contract – 4 weeks on / off rotation

Candidates must hold a Ships Cook CoC or Ships Cook Part I and II, and a valid Food Hygiene certificate.

The Cook is responsible for the following:

  1. Management of the ordering, storage, and use of all catering stores, within budget constraints.
  2. Checking catering stores upon delivery and informing the Master of any discrepancies or missing items.
  3. Monitoring all freezer and chill areas.
  4. Designing menus and preparing all food for the crew.
  5. Ensuring safety in the galley and catering areas.
  6. Reporting defects in galley equipment, fridges, freezers, and food stores to the Chief Engineer.
  7. Familiarity with fire fighting appliances, power cut-off switches, and safety devices in catering areas.
  8. Assisting on deck during emergency exercises and situations involving the launch and recovery of Fast Rescue Crafts.
