The Company currently has a vacancy for a Chief Engineer in its ERRV/MRV fleet.
Start date: 21/07/2025 Position: Permanent Rotation: 4 weeks on / off
Suitable candidates should have previous experience as a Chief Engineer and hold a UK CoC / UK FSE. Non-UK candidates willing to apply for the UK equivalent certificate of competency (UK FSE) will also be considered.

Chief Engineer responsibilities include:
- Monitoring the technical status of the ship, machinery, and propulsion systems, ensuring all equipment is operational.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations issued by authorities, Classification Society, I.M.O., port authorities, and management.
- Overseeing the safe, efficient, and economical operation and maintenance of all machinery, systems, and equipment onboard, including vessel maintenance.
- Maintaining an effective watch in the engine room at all times.
- Reporting defects using the company\’s approved planned maintenance system.
- Updating defect reports promptly to keep maintenance records current.
- Requisitioning stores, spares, and equipment for the Engine Department.
- Delegating tasks to Engine Room staff.
- Promoting and adhering to the company\’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
- Encouraging effective inter-departmental communication.
