The Company currently have a vacancy for a Bosun/Gangway/Crane Operator in its SOV fleet. Start Date 30th June 2026. Permanent position. 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation.

- SMST Gangway Operator

The Bosun/Gangway/Crane Operator is responsible for the following:
- Operation of the vessel’s motion compensated gangway.
- Operation of the vessel’s motion compensated crane.
- Oversee Deck Maintenance and Operations in line with the Chief Officer’s instruction and guidance.
- Ensure Deck Ratings perform work in accordance with the above, safely and according to best practice.
- The execution of duties as designated by watch keeping rota.
- Bosun is responsible to the Watch Keeping Officer on Watch for any / all duties.
- Bosun should be familiar with the use of Breathing Apparatus and possess basic Fire Fighting Skills.
- Forming part of both the vessel's on-board Emergency Response team, and Rescue Craft's whereby applicable.
- Monitoring safe working practices of shore contractors during periods of maintenance.
- Actively promoting and progressing the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.
