The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

The Company currently have a vacancy for a Cook in its ERRV/MRV fleet.

Start date 20th July 2026 - Permanent Contract - 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation

Candidates must hold Ships Cook Co C or Ships Cook Part I and II and a valid Food Hygiene certificate.

Cook is responsible for the following

  • Management of the ordering, storage and use of all catering stores, within budget confines.
  • Check catering stores as supplied, and inform the Master of stores wrongly delivered or missing.
  • Monitoring of all freezer and chill areas.
  • In full charge of designing menus and preparing all foodstuffs for consumption by the crew.
  • Safety aspects of operations within the galley and other catering areas.
  • Reporting of all defects, in the galley, Fridges, Freezers and food store areas to the Chief Engineer.
  • The Cook must be familiar with all fire fighting appliances / power cut off switches and any other safety device within, or appertaining to, any catering area.
  • The Cook will also assist on deck in emergency exercises and situations where Fast Rescue Craft are launched / recovered.
