We are recruiting a new opportunity for an experienced IT / MSP new business sales professional to join a growing consulting MSP / Reseller in Glasgow. This is a new business sales role to build a desk with new clients – this is not an Account Manager role. The business is well-established with a good reputation and brand name, and a strong, diverse, and loyal client base; corporates, SMBs, NFPs etc. They have a great portfolio of premium products and services and are Microsoft Gold Partners, Cisco, Dell, Canon, and HP Partners, among others.
As well as reselling high value OEM and vendor products, the firm has a highly rated and profitable Service Desk to support clients, as well as full capability for Cloud, Security and Comms projects and service management, and they offer paid-for consulting and advisory services to new and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business by selling IT, Software, Tech, Comms or MSP products and services to new clients; build a desk with new clients.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business to achieve quota; this is a new business sales role, not an account management role.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director to grow technical knowledge and sales expertise; participate in coaching and mentoring processes.
Qualifications and experience:
- 2 years’+ experience of selling IT, Software, Tech, Comms or MSP products and services.
- Based in the UK with easy commute to the Glasgow office and right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available.
