At North Star Projects, we help organisations bring structure to complexity. We’re an award-winning project management and operational excellence consultancy based in Lancashire, working with organisations across the UK and internationally to deliver meaningful change, strengthen operations, and improve project delivery capability. Our work spans operational excellence, PMO as a Service, project and programme delivery, supply chain improvement, and project management training, supporting clients including Honeywell, Barbour, Network Rail, and the Wellcome Sanger Institute.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a highly organised, commercially aware, and proactive Business & PMO Analyst to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across both Business Analysis and PMO disciplines - someone equally comfortable supporting governance and delivery as they are engaging stakeholders, gathering requirements, and helping drive transformation initiatives forward.

If you enjoy bringing structure to complexity, are great with numbers, can spot the story behind the data, and support meaningful business change, this could be a fantastic opportunity.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Business analysis (data focused) and requirements gathering
  • Transformation and operational improvement initiatives
  • PMO governance and reporting
  • Project coordination and delivery support
  • Stakeholder workshops and client engagement
  • Programme tracking, RAID management, and reporting

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience within BA, PMO, and/or project delivery environments
  • Is highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Has a strong analytical mindset and enjoys finding the meaning behind the numbers
  • Communicates confidently with stakeholders
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Can manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused

What you’ll get from us:

  • Hybrid and flexible working
  • Exposure to exciting transformation programmes
  • Opportunity for rapid development and progression
  • Meaningful and varied project work
  • A supportive, entrepreneurial team environment
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • A dog-friendly office - so if you venture in, your four-legged colleague is welcome too

At North Star, we’re a human-centred business built on one simple belief: every aspect of a business is run by people. We invest in those people, work collaboratively, and focus on creating lasting impact for our clients.

If you enjoy working across business change, delivery, and transformation then we’d genuinely love to hear from you. Drop us a direct message on LinkedIn or send your CV to office@northstarprojects.co.uk.
