About the Role

As a Content Writer (UK), you will create engaging, accurate, and SEO‑optimised content for the UK market across sports betting and online casino websites. This role requires hands‑on experience. As part of your work, you will be expected to create accounts with UK bookmakers and online casinos, test their desktop and mobile experiences, and produce accurate, first‑hand reviews based on your findings. Working closely with our Content Managers, Editors, and SEO Specialists, you will produce content that not only ranks well in search engines but also provides genuine value to readers while supporting our commercial objectives. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for sports, betting, casino, and digital content, with a strong understanding of the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

• Write high‑quality, original articles covering sports betting, online casinos, bookmakers, casino games, bonuses, and gambling‑related topics.
• Produce content based on detailed editorial briefs while following SEO best practices.
• Adapt your writing style to suit UK audiences and our different brands.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and up‑to‑date information.
• Apply SEO principles, including keyword optimisation, internal linking, metadata, and content structure.
• Update and optimise existing content to maintain relevance and improve search performance.
• Collaborate with Content Managers, Editors, and SEO Specialists to continuously improve content quality.
• Ensure all content complies with editorial standards and UK gambling regulations.
• Proofread and fact‑check all content before submission.

What We’re Looking For

• Native English speaker (UK) or exceptional written English with experience writing for a UK audience.
• Previous experience writing about sports betting, online casinos, or the iGaming industry is essential.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and content optimisation.
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify complex topics into engaging and reader‑friendly content.
• Familiarity with UK bookmakers, casino operators, promotions, and gambling terminology.
• Experience using WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Surfer SEO is a plus.
• Comfortable working remotely within an international team.
• You must be based in the UK to be able to access and test UK‑licensed betting operators.
• You are comfortable creating bookmaker and casino accounts, placing test bets or deposits where required, and reviewing the overall customer experience across desktop and mobile platforms.
