We’re hiring a Senior QA Manager with a strong pharmaceutical manufacturing background to join a growing business in North East England. In this role, you’ll lead a small, multi-site team of QA Managers and QA Officers who specialise in aseptic and sterile manufacturing. Aseptic experience is essential - you’ll need to bring real credibility from day one. If you don’t have hands-on aseptics experience, we won’t be able to progress your application.
You’ll take responsibility for, and have oversight of the processes, policies and quality teams that ensure products are released safely, compliantly and on time, following cGMP, internal procedures and all relevant regulatory requirements. You’ll also bring solid experience in:
- Leading and developing QA teams
- CAPA management
- Managing batch release rates against SLAs
- Right-First-Time (RFT) release performance
- QMS governance
- SOP oversight
- Running multi-site Quality Manager Review forums
- Implementing and tracking continuous improvement projects
- Understanding manufacturing technologies and software
- Stability programme oversight
- Working with suppliers and internal teams to assess new materials
This is an onsite role with some flexibility for home working. Occasional travel to the Home Counties and Scotland should be expected. You’ll be joining a supportive team, working with a highly respected leader, in a stable organisation with low turnover and a genuine career path.
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + Bonus + Package
Location: North East England
