This is a two-month temp assignment (possible extension) working on the Service / Help Desk at an IT firm in Glasgow. Start ASAP.
To be considered you must have experience working on an IT Help or Service Desk, managing a high volume of inbound technical queries, experience of supporting Users with Microsoft Modern Workplace tech e.g. O365 issues, SharePoint, and ideally some understanding of servers, cloud etc.
- Answer inbound calls from internal and external clients
- Route calls through to the right engineer or technical specialist
- Raise tickets on the system
- Escalate urgent tickets
- Keep clients informed on progress of their ticket or query
- Manage email inboxes
Some Help or Service Desk or IT / ICT experience is needed, and you'll be given training and support from day one. As important is a logical, calm and diplomatic manner, and a customer-centric approach to your work.
You must have the right to work in the UK, be able to provide references and be able to work onsite in Glasgow 5 days per week.
