The firm works with an interesting mix of owner-managed businesses, SMBs, micro-entities and NFPs in a number of sectors. This is a new role driven by that growth.
To be considered you need to be a qualified Accountant, or possibly an ambitious P/Q and you will have UK Practice experience (essential) – ideally from a small or mid-tier firm.
What you’ll be doing:
- Client advisory work
- Statutory Accounts in full and abbreviated, including FRS105 & FRS102
- Corporation tax calculations, CT600, Filings
- Prepare VAT submissions
- Liaise with payroll teams on behalf of clients
- Monthly/quarterly/ad hoc management accounts preparation including P&Ls
- Client meetings
- Scheduling and timetabling of work
- Communicating with HMRC - queries/payment plans/VAT registrations/etc
Experience with Sage and Xero is an advantage. As well as delivering accountancy services and advice to your own portfolio of clients, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor less experienced colleagues including studiers.
