We are recruiting for a new opportunity for an Accounts / Finance Assistant to join a growing, friendly business in the Crieff area. Our client works in a regulated industry and due to the nature of their work, this is an office-based job.

The hiring manager and team can consider someone from an accounts or finance background such as commerce / industry, from practice, or even local government. The role will enable you to develop your skills and knowledge, working on multiple accounts, including processing and advising on bought and sold ledgers, payroll, tax, helping build periodic P&Ls and helping the senior team with ad hoc reports, financial balance sheets and filings and submissions.

A recognised accountancy qualification is needed - AAT 3 / 4 will be ideal, or possibly P/Q. Experience of an accounting package such as Sage or Xero is a definite advantage. Our client will encourage and pay for further professional study, including study leave.

Preference will be given to candidates within reasonable travel distance of the location. There is no sponsorship available for this role. You must be in the UK to be considered.
