We are recruiting an interesting and varied Accounts Assistant / Clerk opportunity for a growing Practice in the Crieff area. This will suit someone with AAT 2 / 3 level or equivalent. You should currently live within easy travel distance of Crieff as this is an office-based role. You must hold the right to work in the UK without sponsorship or visa support.
The ideal candidate will have UK Practice experience, including working with owner-managed and small business clients (e.g. FRS 102 and FRS 105). Experience of Sage or Xero is highly desirable.
As part of a warm, friendly and supportive team, you’ll provide support to a qualified Accountant, part-qualified Accountant, and Partner on a variety of client accounts. To be considered, you will need 2 years’ + experience of:
- FRS 102 / 105 accounts
- Data processing / input and verification of data
- Sales and purchase ledgers
- Invoice, cash and bank reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of P&Ls
- Self assessments
- Helping prepare final accounts
- Assisting with the preparation of payroll runs
- Making enquiries with HMRC
- Ad hoc reporting
- Excel spreadsheets
- Use of Xero and Sage
