Job Description
We are recruiting an interesting and varied Accounts Assistant opportunity for a growing Practice in the Crieff area. This will suit someone at AAT 2 / 3 level or equivalent.
Hybrid working, 4 days in office, 1 work at home. Flexible start / finish times possible by agreement.
The ideal candidate will have UK Practice experience, including working with owner-managed and small business clients. Experience of Sage or Xero is highly desirable.
To be considered, you will need 2 years’ + experience of -
- Assisting with the preparation of FRS 102 / 105 accounts
- Data processing / input and verification of data
- Sales and purchase ledgers
- Invoice, cash and bank reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of P&Ls
- Self assessments
- Liaising with the payroll team
- Managing HMRC enquiries
- Ad hoc reporting
- Excel spreadsheets
- Use of Xero and Sage
You'll join a warm, friendly and supportive team, supported by a highly experienced Business Manager and Partner.
If you'd like to pursue further study (although not essential), the business can support you with study support, paid study leave and exam fees.
To be considered, you should currently live within easy travel distance of the Crieff area.
You must hold the right to work in the UK without sponsorship or visa support.
